- 30 grams of wheat flour
- 3 candlenuts
- 2 tsp of coriander
- 5 cloves of garlic, peeled
- 3 pieces of kaffir lime leaves, remove the bones and slice finely
- Salt
- Mushroom stock
- Cold water
- Cooking oil
- Lime juice
How to Make Crispy Gimbal Udang
- Clean shrimp and marinate for 15 minutes in lime juice.
- Grind candlenuts, coriander, garlic, and mushroom stock using a chopper.
- Mix rice flour and wheat flour in one bowl.
- Add cold water gradually until the mixture thickens.
- Add shrimp, blended seasoning, and sliced kaffir lime leaves. Stir well.
- Heat cooking oil in a wok.
- Scoop the mixture using a ladle and pour slowly into the cooking oil in the wok.
- Fry gimbal udang until it’s golden brown.
