  • 1 egg, well beaten

How to Make Chicken and Shrimp Dimsum

  1. Blend or grind the shrimp, chicken fillet, and garlic using a blender or food processor.
  2. Mix the ground shrimp, chicken fillet, and garlic with sliced spring onions, sugar, pepper powder, savory soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  3. Add the beaten egg and tapioca flour. Stir well and adjust the taste.
  4. Grate the carrot with a cheese grater.
  5. Prepare the dimsum wrappers then put the dough into each wrapper. Top each dimsum with grated carrot.
  6. Coat the bottom of the steamer with cooking oil to prevent it from sticking.
  7. Steam the dimsum for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Once cooked, take out the dimsum and serve.
